Engineered photography

As a photographer, I do my best to shoot the scene I see and perform minor edits to my RAW files.

Sometimes edits need to be performed to achieve the scene you saw in your head while taking the photo. Other times a photo is heavily edited and may be considered graphic design through its editing process rather than a photograph.
In other definitions, engineered photography has nothing to do with editing but with manipulating light to colour and brighten a scene or changing a colour photo to a black and white.
